Edward C. Cacace

Edward C. Cacace

Senior Vice President

Ed has served over forty-five years in aviation operational leadership. After serving in the United States Air Force, Ed began a long and successful career with Sikorsky Aircraft. His management style, implementation of lean manufacturing, and customer relations made him an ideal candidate for the SES team. He came to Huntsville in 2009 and has been an integral component to the operational success SES continues to hold today. Over the years, Ed has kept contact with numerous key aviation companies and realized they did not have the same competitive edge to obtain parts quickly and at a reasonable price point. Understanding this business through his experience, he was tasked to head up a commercial company, Advanced Precisions Parts, supplying parts and services to a wide variety of customers.

Ed has secured long-term agreements for several dynamic components and now affords a brand new avenue for procurement. While it was Ed’s intention to serve SES for a few years, he fell in love with the south and the hospitality of the many people he has come to know. In the summer, Ed enjoys throwing his kayak on his Jeep and enjoying the water. While in the winter, it is all about his beloved Green Bay Packers (GO Pack GO!) and Alabama football (Roll Tide Roll!). Ed’s pride and joy and all his free time goes to his grandkids! He is one proud Papa of three and, yes, his eldest granddaughter is now a student of the University of Alabama!

Clint Tranum

Clint Tranum

Director of CLS

So how do you ensure the best price for the customer? Enter Clint. Clint can slice and dice data better than a Kinzua knife ensuring parts procurement at the best price. As a former Engineer and Senior Commercial Program Manager, Clint understands the true picture of programs- they can be over budget and behind schedule. However, Clint’s programs ran successfully and the SES customer was extremely appreciative. Clint runs APP logistics the same way – he forecasts your needs, finds ways to procure the parts you need, and ensures the best overall price to pass along to you. Clint manages all incoming logistics from the airframes we purchase to the blades in inventory.

Clint graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Fiber Engineering with a Business Minor. Clint, his wife, and two beautiful daughters moved to Huntsville in 2016. The family likes to stay active with outdoor activities such as trips to the mountains or to the beaches of the Panhandle.

He has worked on and flown Bell, Sikorsky, MD, and numerous Russian aircraft, Dave has 28 years fulfilling Air Crew, Maintenance, and Quality roles. This is not “just a job” for Dave, he is a true aviation professional and is passionate about all thing’s rotor! When our quotes come in, Dave personally looks at every part to ensure the part is serviceable, tagged correctly, has a traceable history, and/or ensures the part is valued-added for our customer. Since he has worked on aircraft for years, he knows the market cost of parts and his goal is to beat it! He wants to get the part into our customer’s hand for the best price possible.
